The IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is the most widely-accepted global framework for achieving best practice Service Management. The third version of the framework, ITILŽ v3, launched in June 2007, offers a more strategic and service-oriented life-cycle approach to Service Management than previous ITIL iterations.

Organizations intending to implement ITILŽ v3 are faced with a significant ITIL education and awareness challenge. A wide-spread traditional ITILŽ v3 education program will be virtually impossible to implement quickly - due to budgets, availability and other common organizational constraints.

Normally delivered over 5 rounds, the Polestar simulation uses gaming dynamics to mirror the real world interaction between IT and the business, from both a strategic and operational perspective.

The simulation structure is designed to reflect the entire service management lifecycle as delivered by ITILŽ v3. Participants progress through the rounds, increasing operational maturity and gaining a holistic understanding of quality Service Management as they go.

Polestar ITSM is facilitated over one day with a minimum of 12 and maximum of 20 participants. The fee is € 5.600 (VAT excluded), including a Polestar Trainer. Note that the travelling costs of the trainer are not included.
